The Design Approach
Hunts Office partnered with NEB to create a workspace that reflects the company’s commitment to innovation and sustainability. The design integrates modern furniture solutions that promote flexibility and environmental responsibility, while ensuring comfort and functionality. The challenge was to create a space that not only facilitated scientific research but also supported the employees’ physical and mental well-being.
Furniture Selection:
Boho adds a relaxed, informal vibe to the reception area. Its soft, natural aesthetic paired perfectly with NEB’s vision for an inviting, comfortable and welcoming environment. With removable covers and legs, Boho has been designed for disassembly making it perfectly aligned with NEBs sustainability requirements.
Snug Modular was selected in areas that required flexibility and comfort. Known for its deep seating and soft pillow-edge detailing, Snug provided NEB with the versatility to create various configurations tailored to different types of meetings and work sessions. Its modular nature allowed for reconfiguration to suit the space, making it adaptable to different team sizes and needs.
The clean lines and distinctive ‘peeled back’ design of the Peel Table offered a modern yet functional piece that fit well within NEB’s social areas. The table’s durability and sleek silhouette made it a natural choice. Available in different sizes and finishes, Peel added an element of style without compromising on usability.
