The Cardiff School of Technologies (CST) building within Cardiff Metropolitan University was designed with student life at its heart. Featuring a suite of high-tech labs situated around an open plan learning area and office spaces for lecturers and staff, the building provides a hub for PHD students to connect socially and academically with their network of peers and staff.

With a design focused around flexible and highly accessible social areas, Frovi worked alongside our esteemed learning environment design team at Bridgend Office Furniture (BOF) to deliver the perfect informal welcoming and on-brief furniture for their newly designed areas.

By introducing the Veck range of versatile, lightweight tubular framed stools, we were able to create an ideal social space that is soaked in creative collaboration and withstands the rigours of constant daily use. With a unique triangular punched, patterned seat, perfectly flexible for use indoors or outdoors, and available as a High, Counter-height or Low Stool with metal, wood veneer and upholstered seat pad options, the Veck range was the obvious choice to deliver this brief impeccably.
