Covering the Teeside area, Michael Poole estate agents is a well-established estate agents. When opening their new office in Stockton-on-Tees, ensuring the layout made best possible use of the space was crucial. They turned to local interior designers Cocoon & Bauer to provide them with a fantastic design concept for their new high-street premises.
The design brief entailed delivering a different customer experience to any other estate agents in the area. With that in mind Cocoon & Bauer designed a welcoming, informal and homely feel to the office, creating a comfortable inviting space.
To achieve this goal furniture specialist Ultimate (Commercial interiors) Ltd became involved in the project to ensure the needs of the customer were met.
The furniture needed to provide a non-traditional office waiting area and met the design brief of homely and informal. Providing furniture which "reflects quality with an informal and homely design", Ultimate specified Frovi Ilk High & Ilk Low back chairs, these paired with a Snug Sofa & Scandi Coffee Table created the perfect comfortable place to wait.
Frovi Yak chairs were then used to soften the aesthetic of the workstations. Whilst Foundry shelving helps to partition work areas while providing storage space for documents and literature. Foundry's blend of residential and commercial design help to offer a practical solution whilst ensuring a comfortable place to work.
Finally, including a Jig Credenza provides further storage for items that would otherwise clutter the desks in a busy estate agents whilst amplifying the feeling of the space.
Michael Poole were pleased with the final result; the space looks great and everyone was pleased to hear so many positive comments following the handover.
