Choosing furniture for Workplace Wellbeing
Wellbeing

We believe that wellbeing, health and collaboration are factors that should be considered in the workspaces of today, to propel your business to the next level tomorrow.

Measuring wellbeing: The WELL Building Standard™

The WELL Building Standard™ is a performance-based system that is responsible for measuring, certifying, and monitoring all features of a built environment.

From the construction of the building down to its furnishings, all aspects of a building are measured for their impact on human health and wellbeing.

To achieve the WELL Building Standard™, 10 WELL Concepts must be met: Air, Water, Nourishment, Light, Movement, Thermal Comfort, Sound, Materials, Mind and Community.

How to choose furniture that contributes to the WELL Building Standard™

The WELL Building Standard™ offers a thorough framework for testing and measuring how a building is designed from a ‘People First’ perspective.

Whether your goal is to achieve the WELL Building Standard™, or to simply put more emphasis on workplace wellbeing, there are furniture choices you can make to help assist this.

Let’s take a closer look at how the WELL Concepts of Movement, Light, Materials & Mind can be applied to your furniture choices.
