The project
After being successful in tendering for both the desking and ancillary furniture packages for the new floor, Insightful Environments (IE) were asked to take the original furniture concepts provided by interior design company, Maris, and engineer the final selection to a fixed budget without compromising the original scheme.
Working within a tight schedule with only three months until installation, IE used its knowledge of the furniture market to suggest and demonstrate alternatives where appropriate that kept to the original scheme and met the budget. IE then developed the detailed finishes schedule, holding finishes workshops with ServiceNow and Maris to agree the final selection.
Our Relic family was selected as its been expertly designed with industrial inspiration whilst showcasing a rustic edge. With fully customisable power requirements and available in a range of frame and top finishes, it was an ideal product to help create a cooperative, modern workspace, whilst creating a comfortable breakout space for a relaxing break or informal meetings.
IE designed this space to ensure office and workspace trends were followed in this project, as businesses worldwide shift their focus to a more human-centric approach to working, employee comfort is firmly at the top of the agenda. The finished space now provides a vibrant new office with a greater selection of setting types to meet the needs of different types of work.
