Amadeus is a global, market-leading technology company that helps travel businesses grow by connecting them to the travel market place. Their ambition is simple – embrace innovation and technology to shape the future of travel. When they decided to fit-out their offices, Tetris was called to design a dynamic, vibrant and flexible workspace.
The goal was to create a space in which Amadeus can live and breathe their vision and values, while promoting an open and collaborative workspace for 650 employees across 90,000 square feet of office space near Heathrow airport.
Tetris started by analysing the objectives and challenges of the work place fit-out project, company culture, employees' current working methods and those you wish to encourage.
Then a feasibility study is carried out, along with a technical audit in order to assess whether the future workspaces can be used to bring your desired project to life. Using the outline of the agreed project, Tetris presented an initial budget estimate, alongside a detailed implementation programme.
The design team from Tetris came up with a unique design that captured exactly the look and feel Amadeus were expecting and would contribute to their organisation's transformation.
A vibrant workspace with an open, community feel that encourages innovation and collaboration. The office revolves around a central atrium, featuring a tiered auditorium space and Frovi Urban sofas on the ground floor.
A variety of working environments have been incorporated on each floor, from hot-desking to breakout booths, providing employees with the flexibility to choose how they work. Fresh new look to the canteen areas featured Block Steel by Frovi, in a range of bright uplifting colours, which was also mirrored in the company signage.
This project was achieved by adopting a joined-up approach across Tetris and their supply chain, helping Amadeus achieve their goals across their property portfolio. The space created truly reflected the values and ambitions of Amadeus, enhancing their brand.
